香港各區最高氣溫．秋分最熱紀錄？

2008年09月22日，受颱風「黑格比」外圍氣候帶影響，香港各區最高氣溫高達攝氏34度以上（位於較高海拔的山頂和昂坪也分別高達攝氏32度和攝氏28度），普遍地區高達攝氏35度，個別地區如沙田、九龍城和上水更接近攝氏37度。
此情況有機會打破香港開埠以來最炎熱秋分的紀錄。

在上述消息截稿發放後，香港天文台昂坪監測站錄得氣溫於 19:00 至 20:00 期間再度攀升，最高達至攝氏28.4度，比 17:00 前的最高氣溫（攝氏28度）還要高出攝氏0.4度！
